Promotions Announced in College Hill’s Life Sciences Team

2nd April 2008, London, Manchester, Munich: College Hill has recently promoted four members of staff in it’s Life Sciences team in recognition of their achievements over the past year. Justine Lamond and Kathryn Robertson move up from Junior Account Manager to Account Manager with Holly Griffiths being promoted from Senior Account Executive to Junior Account Manager and Claire Mosley from Account Executive to Senior Account Executive. All members of the team joined the Company in 2006.

Justine joined as an Account Executive having previously worked for leading Australian Biotech PR & IR firm Buchan Consulting in Sydney. During this time, she worked over a wide variety of life sciences providing media relations support, event logistics, brand development, investor relations support and corporate writing assistance. At College Hill, Justine has focused on providing financial communications and investor relations support to a number of clients including, Ablynx, Biota, Cyclacel, DBV Technologies and Index Ventures.

Moving up from her original position as a Junior Account Manager, Kathryn had previous employment as a Research Associate in the Institute for Cell Biology, University of Edinburgh, where she also volunteered as a presenter for a number of science outreach programmes thereby gaining experience in media relations and producing press releases for the Institute. Kathryn has a BSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Edinburgh and a subsequent MSc in Science Communication from the Australian National University. At College Hill Kathryn brings versatility and creativity to a wide range of communications projects as well as strong technical writing skills. Her clients include BAC, Cobra Biomanufacturing, Consortium for Postgenome Science, GE Healthcare, Midatech and Perkin Elmer.

Joining originally as a Junior Account Executive, Holly holds a First Class Honours degree in Neuroscience and a Distinction in spoken German from the University of Manchester. She also has international experience gained in Austria’s Center for Brain Research. Since joining the team, Holly has worked on a variety of UK and European accounts, gaining financial experience from work on both Amsterdam Molecular Therapeutics' (AMT) and Ablynx’s IPOs, and corporate experience from work on accounts such as Oxford BioMedica, BioInvent and Bionest Partners. In addition, Holly has been involved in copywriting, translation, design and website projects for various clients.

Claire joined as a new graduate as Account Administrator, having graduated from the University of Leeds with a BSc (Hons) Biology degree. She gained previous PR experience from ‘The Corporation’ and ‘Sharon Osbourne Management’. Claire provides account executive and project management support across corporate communications and media relations campaigns for clients including Santaris, Lab 21, BTG and Oxford Biomedica. She also provides public relations and investor support for Cyclacel.
