Senior Promotions Strengthen College Hill's Life Sciences Team

26th August 2008, London: College Hill, the international business communications consultancy, has announced two promotions in its Life Sciences team in London. Lorna Cuddon moves up from Account Director to Associate Partner and Tony Stephenson moves up from Senior Account Manager to Account Director.

Lorna's position as Associate Partner was confirmed by the College Hill partnership and reflects her contribution to the Company, both in developing an impressive client portfolio and, more widely, as a senior member of the life sciences team. Lorna joined the Company as an Account Manager in 2005 and was promoted to Account Director in the following year. Previously Lorna was the Marketing Manager at NextGen Sciences Plc where she was responsible for leading the Company's marketing and public relations in the UK and international markets. Prior experience includes a position as Consultant for Sagentia (formerly Scientific Generics) where she focused on marketing communications and business development in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. At College Hill (and previously at Northbank), Lorna takes particular responsibility for driving the team's marketing communications services forward. She has won over 20 new clients for the Company. She manages a team of five and her current clients include Acambis, Cogenics, GE Healthcare, Illumina, Improvision, NextGen Sciences, Novozymes, Promega, Pronota, Protagen and Upfront Chromatography.

Tony's promotion to Account Director underlines Tony's success in executing successful media relations campaigns for his clients and in particular in achieving significant coverage in the UK National press. Over the past seven years Tony has worked with various science and research institutions, plus associations and corporations, converting newsflow and messaging into UK national and global media coverage. Tony joined College Hill having previously been the Press Officer at Imperial College. Here he was responsible for creating story angles from complex research that appealed to national and global press. His role included coordinating Imperial College's pro-active and reactive media relations international and national media. Tony is focused on media relations programmes and his clients include, Acrobot, BTG, DxS, Lab 21, PepTcell, Pronostics, Simcyp and Westover Medical.

Sue Charles, Managing Partner, Life Sciences, College Hill, commented: 'We are a people business' our clients value the skills and experience of our team. These promotions reflect the successes that both Lorna and Tony have achieved and the progress they have made since joining the team. They make a significant contribution to the life sciences team's success.

In becoming an Associate Partner, Lorna joins the Life Sciences partner team that includes Sue Charles, Managing Partner, Katja Stout, Partner and Chris Fisher, Associate Partner.
