28th October 2008, London and Munich: College Hill, the international business communications consultancy, has announced several promotions in its Life Sciences team in London and Munich. Katie Odgaard, Holly Griffiths and Dr Robert Mayer all move up from Junior Account Manager to Account Manager.
Having joined in 2006 as an Account Executive, Katie’s promotion reflects her ongoing work managing and contributing to the growth of major College Hill Life Sciences client accounts such as GE Healthcare. Katie assists in communications planning and management, technical writing, PR, copywriting, editing and media outreach for clients, as well as managing marketing and design projects with the College Hill Life Sciences Studio. In addition, Katie provides senior guidance and mentoring for the more junior members of the team. Her current clients include EnviroGene, GE Healthcare, Genetix, Illumina and NextGen Sciences.
Since joining as a Junior Account Executive in 2006, Holly’s strengths have continued to grow within the life sciences team. She has worked on the IPOs of Ablynx and Amsterdam Molecular Therapeutics (AMT), and manages a number of key accounts, most notably Oxford BioMedica and Ranbaxy. Holly provides account management and support in the areas of media outreach, PR planning, feature planning and placement, copywriting and copyediting as well as management of design projects. Her current clients include Aquapharm, BioInvent International, Bionest Partners, Cell Medica, Cerenis Therapeutics, Isogenica, Lectus Therapeutics, MAT Biopharma, Oxford BioMedica, Protagen, Ranbaxy and Rose Pharma.
Robert joined the Munich-based life sciences team as an Account Executive in 2006 quickly developing its German media relations expertise. Over time he has grown into the account management role such that he currently assists with media relations, technical writing and marketing projects for clients in the life science, biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. He currently manages the following clients: Activaero, Affimed Therapeutics, Aravis, CNSystems, Ergomed, FlowMedical, Ganymed, Gene Bridges, Ibidi, ImVisioN Therapeutics, InterMed Discovery, MTM Laboratories, Nitec Pharma, Novosom, Pantec Biosolutions, Polyphor, SpePharm, SuppreMol, TelorNedix, Virusure, Vivendy Therapeutics and 4-Antibody.
