31st March 2010, London, Manchester, San Francisco, Boston, Munich: College Hill, the International business communications consultancy, saw three new additions to its Life Sciences team in the first Quarter of 2010. Karen Manser and Dr Anastasios Koutsos joined as Account Executives, with team support being boosted with the appointment of Sophie Hughes as Executive Assistant.
Prior to joining the team, Karen worked in an analyst role at Pricespective where her research involved working closely with KOLs and Payers to support the development of early phase pricing and reimbursement strategies for novel therapeutics. Before this she gained experience within the communications department at the BIA. She has BSc(Hons) in Biochemistry with Science Communications from Royal Holloway, London, where she specialised in the altered neuronal circuitry in Schizophrenia.
Anastasios combines a strong academic background in life sciences with technical writing, project management skills and support skills. Prior to joining College Hill, he worked as a scientific editor and journal development editor for BioMed Central, and his worked involved managing the peer-review process for a series of biomedical journals. Anastasios has a PhD in Molecular Biology from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory and the University of Crete.
Sophie provides a central co-ordinating role for the team across all offices, taking responsibility for marketing activities. Prior to joining College Hill, Sophie worked in roles providing Director level support in the public and private sectors. She has a BSc (Hons) in Exercise Sciences & Nutrition from Oxford Brookes University where she specialised in Exercise Programmes & Prescription and Sports Nutrition.
