College Hill sponsors "Most Significant Contribution to the Mediscience Sector" Award

12th April 2010, London: College Hill Life Sciences is delighted to announce that it is the 2010 sponsor of the award for the "Most Significant Contribution to the Mediscience Sector" at the European Mediscience Awards on 24th June 2010.

The European Mediscience Awards celebrates and recognizes excellence and success in the European mediscience sector. Now in its 9th year, this has become one of the largest gatherings of publicly quoted biotech and life science companies in Europe and a must-attend event for leading corporate advisors, analysts, investors and media in the life sciences sector.

The accolade for "Most Significant Contribution to the Mediscience Sector", sponsored by College Hill Life Sciences, recognises an individual, company, government department, or research council which has made the single, most significant contribution to the sector. Previous recipients have included the Biotechnology Industry Association and Shire Pharmaceuticals.

Commenting on College Hill's sponsorship of the Award, Sue Charles, Managing Partner, Life Sciences said:

"We are delighted to be supporting the European Mediscience Awards and sponsoring such an important category. In these difficult economic times, it is vital for the future of the sector for individuals and organisations to lend maximum support. Key dates include:

  • 12th April 2010, voting opens
  • 20th May 2010, shortlisted nominees announced
  • 24th June 2010, winners announced at the European Mediscience Awards at the Inter-Continental Hotel, London W1.

The College Hill Life Sciences team has recently extended and strengthened its Financial Communications offering with the appointment of senior consultants, Melanie Toyne-Sewell and Rebecca Skye Dietrich. Melanie leads the life sciences' financial communications in Europe, whilst Rebecca is based in the US.
