24 June 2010, London, Manchester, Munich, San Francisco, Boston: College Hill Life Sciences was well represented at this year’s European Mediscience Awards, an occasion that celebrates and recognises excellence and success in the European mediscience sector.
As sponsor of the Most Significant Contribution to the Mediscience Sector award, managing partner Sue Charles joined TV presenter Kate Silverton in presenting the award to winners Melanie Carr and Dr. Constantinos Ziogas from the European Medicines Agency. Melanie Toyne-Sewell, Head of Financial Communications, represented College Hill on the voting panel for one of the evening’s awards. The table hosts, also of College Hill included Adrian Duffield and Nicole Yost, alongside Sue and Melanie.
Also on the winning side was client QIAGEN who won the award for the Best Transaction for its acquisition of DxS. QIAGEN, a NASDAQ 100 company, became a client following its acquisition of DxS, a company that College Hill had represented for many years, so it was great to celebrate its success.
Now in its ninth year, the Awards Ceremony has become one of the largest gatherings of publicly quoted biotech and life science companies in Europe and a must-attend event for leading corporate advisors, analysts, investors and media in the life sciences sector.
