College Hill Announces New Appointments in its Life Sciences Team

1 December 2010, London, Manchester, Munich, Boston: The Life Sciences team of international business communications consultancy, College Hill, has expanded its team with the appointment of Dimithri Wignarajah and Daniel Gooch to its London team. Dimithri joined as Account Manager on 18th October, whilst Daniel has been appointed at Senior Account Manager level and joined on 9th November.

Daniel joins with over a dozen years' experience in the life sciences sector. Prior to joining College Hill, he was a civil servant in the English Department of Health where he worked on Government policy covering life sciences, genetics, gene therapy, and also respiratory disease. Daniel has also worked in the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills as head of medical biotechnology policy. He has an MSc in Biotechnology, and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a fermentation development scientist, at what are now GSK and Roche. At College Hill he will work across a range of clients in the biotech area on both corporate and financial communications..

In the seven years prior to College Hill, Dimithri worked in integrated communications roles, in account management at Euro RSCG and Grey Healthcare, before joining the charity Diabetes UK in 2009 overseeing its healthcare communications. Previously he worked in pharmaceutical research and development at GSK’s Neurology CEDD and has a BSc in Pharmacology. Dimithri will be focused on marketing and corporate communications, specifically joining the team servicing life sciences' client GE Healthcare.
