Tasos moves up to the position of Junior Account Director, Bex to Junior Account Manager and Henry to Account Executive.

Tasos joined College Hill as an Account Executive in 2010. Prior to joining College Hill Life Sciences he spent 30 months at BioMed Central (part of the Springer Business+Media Group) where he held various editorial roles for a series of biomedical journals. At College Hill, he has worked on a variety of clients, spanning corporate, financial and marketing communications that include Affymetrix, BAC, BioInvent International, Cerenis Therapeutics, Dionex, Forbion Capital Partners, Prosensa Therapeutics and Roche Partnering. Tasos has a PhD in Molecular Biology from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory and the University of Crete.

Bex joined the team earlier in 2012 and has progressed rapidly from Account Executive to Junior Account Manager. Bex manages a number of clients PR and communications programmes, most notably Karus Therapeutics, Celtic Therapeutics, e-Therapeutics and GE Healthcare Life Sciences. She has a PhD in Bionanotechnology and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry both from the University of Leeds.

With experience in biochemical research and a strong interest in science communication, Henry’s scientific background combined with science writing and editorial experience has enabled him to rapidly progress in his PR role at College Hill Life Sciences since joining earlier in 2012. He joined College Hill life Sciences from academia, having completed a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from University College London. He has been published in print and online and regularly writes for Nature’s Scitable blog network. He supports a wide range of client accounts across corporate, financial and marketing communications.

Commenting on the promotions, Managing Partner Sue Charles said: “At College Hill, we are keen to recognise exemplary work and promote talent. Tasos, Bex and Henry have demonstrated increased responsibility and commitment in supporting their clients, and their promotion gives them the opportunity to learn and develop complementary skills that will provide further advancement in their careers and added value to clients.”
