21 January 2013, London: College Hill, part of the international business communications consultancy, College Group, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Stefanie Bacher, Katherine Granger and Donia Al Saffar to its Life Sciences team. Stefanie and Katherine join as Account Directors while Donia joins the team as a Junior Account Executive. All three are based in London.
Stefanie has over a decade’s experience working in various communication roles within the life sciences sector. Prior to joining College Hill, she headed European Marketing & Communications for Cytori Therapeutics, Inc. based in the UK. This followed several years at the Company’s headquarters in the USA and at its office in Germany where she managed investor and financial communications in support of its German Stock Exchange listing. Before Cytori, she worked for German-based Sanofi-Aventis. Her experience spans corporate, marketing and product communications as well as investor, media, and patient advocacy relations. Stefanie has a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, San Diego, USA. In addition to her German native language, she is fluent in written and spoken English.
Also with over a decade’s experience in the healthcare industry Katherine has joined the team from an in-house background in sales and marketing. Prior to College Hill, Katherine worked as a sales executive, then product manager before becoming head of marketing at Corin Ltd. During her 10 years with Corin, Katherine was based in both the UK and USA. She has extensive experience of brand management and of managing global product launches. She has a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Materials Science from the University of Manchester and a Professional Diploma in Marketing.
Donia recently graduated from the University of Manchester with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences with Industrial Experience. During her placement year, Donia worked as a Protein Biochemist for Boehringer Ingelheim in Germany where she gained relevant insight into the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. Throughout her degree and work experience Donia has developed communication and presentation skills, in particular presenting complex scientific information in a clear and accurate way.
