College Hill Award Finalist for its Communications Campaign in Support of Clinigen Group AIM Listing

17 April 2013, London: College Hill Life Sciences, part of the international business communications consultancy College Group, has been short listed as a finalist by the Communicate Magazine Corporate & Financial Awards 2013 in the category of 'Best M&A/Other Transaction Communications' for its campaign in support of the listing on the London Stock Exchange Alternative Investment Market by its client Clinigen Group plc.

College Hill was appointed by Clinigen in July 2012 to provide financial communications counsel to the Company as it prepared for an IPO. The campaign, which included strategic counsel, message development, copywriting for the prospectus, investor presentation and press materials, media and presentation training, outreach to financial and industry media and sell-side analysts. The result was a successful and supportive communications campaign which provided a solid foundation for the Group into the aftermarket, following its shares being admitted for trading on AIM on 25 September 2013.

Clinigen is a fast-growing, global specialty pharmaceuticals business based in Burton-on-Trent.

Commenting on the campaign, Partner Melanie Toyne-Sewell said:
"Selection as a finalist for the Communicate Magazine Corporate & Financial Awards 2013 is great recognition for the College Hill team that worked on the Clinigen IPO campaign.  At the time, there had been no pharmaceutical company IPO in the UK for five years due to a challenging market and turbulent financial conditions. Ensuring that the campaign was executed successfully was important not only for our client Clinigen, but also for the healthcare sector as a whole.  It was a truly team effort and we were very pleased with the results. "

The Awards celebrate excellence in all aspects of ‘city communication’ and provide a benchmark of companies’ communication with the City and its influencers. Award winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 18 June at The Victory Services Club in London after a jury of experienced in-house practitioners, professionals from leading communication agencies, analysts and financial journalists make their final selections. Other nominees in the Best M&A/Other Transaction Communications category include China Chaintek United Co., Direct Line Group and Rare Earth Global Limited.
