07 November 2013, London, Manchester, Munich, Melbourne: College Hill Life Sciences, part of the international business communications consultancy, College Group, is pleased to announce its participation in the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) Mission to China 11-15 November as it increases its focus on Asia, following College Group’s expansion in the region with the acquisition of PR People.
As part of its global expansion, College Group acquired The PR people Consultancy, an award-winning agency providing corporate communications and brand reputation expertise with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing in October 2013. The strategic partnership will further enhance College Group’s capabilities in supporting global clients in the Greater China region which is often placed at the top of their geographic priorities. PR People will work alongside and in partnership with College Hill’s existing financial, corporate and IR communications business in Hong Kong and will see the number of employees in China increasing to over 25.
With its increased presence in China, College Hill Life Sciences is keen to maximize on its increased global reach for its clients in Europe, USA and Australia. “The opportunity to participate in the UKTI Mission to China came at a perfect time for us” said Global Managing Partner for Life Sciences, Sue Charles.
Dr Lynne Trowbridge will be participating in the UKTI funded Trade Mission which is being organised in collaboration with China-Britain Business Council. The Mission includes a visit to Beijing Etown Bio-medical Industrial Park and Sino-PhIRDA (China Pharmaceutical Industry Research and Development Association) in Shanghai as well as active participation at the BIO Convention in China. At BIOChina, College Hill will be exhibiting (Booth no. 406) and presenting (Tuesday, November 12 at 5pm) as well as engaging in the partnering programme. This portion of the mission will be followed by a trip to Shanghai to participate in the UK-China Forum alongside VIP company visits.

In addition, we are now well placed to support Chinese life science and healthcare clients, locally and on the global stage.”
During the mission Dr Trowbridge will meet with the PR People team led by Uhi Hui, who founded PR People in 2004, and is now a Managing Partner of College Group.
