12 June 2015, London, UK: Instinctif Partners is pleased to congratulate Andrew Ward of the Financial Times for winning the “Mediscience Commentator of the Year” award at the European Mediscience Awards on 11th June 2015, in recognition of his clear and concise commentary on the Life Sciences Sector.
The “Mediscience Commentator of the Year” award category was sponsored by Instinctif Partners for the 7th year. This accolade can be awarded to an analyst, a journalist, a columnist, a research house, a specialist website or a team that is dedicated to providing sharp, perceptive and penetrating commentary about the sector. Past winners include John Carroll, Editor of FierceBiotech, Andrew Clark, Deputy Business Editor at The Times and the teams at BioCentury and EP Vantage. Other finalists in 2015 were the Team at BioCentury, Makiko Kitamura from Bloomberg and Amy Brown from EP Vantage.
Andrew is the Pharmaceutical Correspondent at The Financial Times, where he has worked for 16 years, after joining them as a trainee reporter. His previous roles have included UK News Editor, Nordic Bureau Chief and White House correspondent, US South-East correspondent, Korea correspondent and Media correspondent. The Financial Times is published six days a week and printed in 20 cities worldwide.
