Daniel has worked in communications and public affairs consultancy, Government policy, and pharmaceutical R&D. He has supported corporate communications activities for many global life sciences clients. At the Department of Health, Daniel covered policy areas including genetics and biotechnology. Whilst at the Department of Business he was head of medical biotechnology policy. Daniel started in R&D at Glaxo Wellcome (now GSK) and Boehringer Mannheim (now Roche) producing anti-cancer drugs.
He has an MSc and Dutch BEng degree in biotechnology, a BSc (First) in biotechnology, and an advanced diploma in communications studies.
